Warnbro Primary School has a warm and inviting Library. Each class has a weekly slot where they can come and select a library book of their choice. There is always a fun and exciting display for students to enjoy and library sessions are concluded with a story and encouragement certificate for a lucky student. There are a wide range of Fiction and Non Fiction books to choose from and the Library Officer, Mrs Lightfoot makes sure all the current popular books are purchased and made available as soon as possible. There is a dedicated Kindy and Pre-Primary area with low front facing shelves suitable for the smaller members of our school community.
All students are encouraged to visit Mrs Lightfoot in the mornings before school (8am onwards) if they wish change their books more regularly than once a week. The library is open every day except Thursdays and Friday afternoon. Scholastic Book Club is also available at Warnbro Primary School. We use the LOOP payment system which means parents have the convenience of purchasing and paying for the chosen resource online. The books are sent to the school and delivered to the child’s classroom by Mrs Lightfoot.
