The functions of the Warnbro Primary School Board are:
- To participate in the development of the School Development Plan. (Including setting goals and priorities consistent with Education Department policy and school needs.)
- To ratify the School Development Plan and School Budget annually.
- To receive reports from the school Principal or delegated staff members on progress with regard to the implementation of the plan.
The School Board is made up of 5 – 15 members. It must be weighted in favour of parents and community members. At least one P & C member should be represented on the council. There should be three school staff members of which one is the Principal of the school.
All members of the School Board, with the exception of the Principal, are elected every three years.
